House

Your sigil, your house name, your culture and your faith — who your character is in the realm.

None of this changes how the game plays. It's how your town and your character fit the world, and all of it is optional.

Your banner

Your sigil. It flies for your house, and it rides on every event announcement your town sends to Discord and the wiki.

CommandWhat it does
/bannerA full banner kit — a blank banner, a loom, 8 of every dye and all 10 special patterns. Once a day.
/res house banner setSave the banner you're holding as your house banner.

Advanced banner commands

You never need these. A loom and /res house banner set cover an ordinary sigil. It's the same command as above, just given a written-out design instead of the banner in your hand, which is the only way past the loom's six-layer limit.

CommandWhat it does
/res house banner set <base> <colour:pattern> ...Set it by design instead of by held item — e.g. /res house banner set BLACK_BANNER RED:gradient_up YELLOW:border. A loom stops at six pattern layers; this doesn't.
/res house banner add <colour:pattern> ...Add layers to the banner you already have — loom the first six, save it, then keep going past the loom's limit.

Your sigil can carry up to 64 pattern layers — a loom only applies six, so anything beyond that is built with the advanced commands above.

Your house

The name your banner flies under: a motto, a spouse and an heir.

CommandWhat it does
/res houseYour house. Add a player's name to see theirs.
/res house set name <name>Name it (up to 12 characters).
/res house set motto <motto>Give it words (up to 8).
/res house set heir <player>Name your heir.
/res house set spouse <player>Name your spouse.

You can hold both at once, but they have to be two different people. Your spouse cannot also be your heir. Use remove in place of the name to clear either one.

Culture and religion

Culture belongs to the town and the mayor picks it. Religion is yours alone. You can change your religion later.

CommandWhat it does
/town culture set <culture>Set your town's culture (mayor).
/town culture listSee what cultures there are.
/town culture view [town]Look up a town's culture.
/res religion set <religion>Choose your religion.
/res religion listSee what religions there are.
/res religion view [player]Look up a player's religion.
/nation religionThe spread of religions across your nation.

Titles

A mayor can give residents custom titles — purely for show, and the one part of this page someone else has to give you.

CommandWhat it does
/town roles assign <player> <role>Give a resident a title (mayor or officer).
/town roles remove <player>Take it back.
